Yassine Fadel

Yassine Fadel is a multilingual actor whose curiosity and passion for storytelling have led him to an international career in film and television. Fluent in French and Arabic, he also has advanced proficiency in English, Dutch, Berber, German, and Spanish, allowing him to seamlessly navigate diverse linguistic and cultural landscapes.

His journey into the world of acting began in 2012 when director Philipp Stölzl cast him in The Expatriate, marking his first role on the big screen. From there, his career took off, leading him to work on international productions such as Diego Star in Canada, La Part Sauvage in Belgium, The Conquerors in France, and The Kidnapping of Freddy Heineken in the Netherlands. His first leading role came with Isola, a Cannes-selected French feature film, which opened new doors for him in the industry.

Over the years, he has brought a wide range of characters to life in both film and television. In 2020, he starred as Jacques in All My Friends Are Dead (Poland), a Netflix feature directed by Mitja Okorn and Jan Belcl. His work in cinema continued with Le Silence de la Musique (2023), where he played Mokhtar in a film by Saad Chraibi. That same year, he took on his first horror role as Rocco in The Well, directed by Federico Zampaglione, a film that quickly gained international success, selling in over 100 countries.

In addition to his film work, Yassine has built an impressive career in television. In 2016, he appeared in the award-winning series Homeland, playing a Mossad Tech, and later that year portrayed a Syrian Imam in Peter Kosminsky’s BAFTA-winning drama The State. His international presence continued to grow with his role as Nabil in Netflix’s Into The Night (2019), followed by his performance as Ramzy in Undercover Season 3 (2021). In 2023, he joined the cast of A Town Called Malice on Sky Max and took on a leading role as Malik Nasri in the Belgian series Trentenaires.

Throughout his career, Yassine’s performances have been recognized with multiple awards. His role in State of Emergency Motherfucker earned him Best Lead Actor at the South Film and Arts Academy Festival in Chile (2018), Festival Le Court en Dit Long in Belgium (2018), and Fescisa Festival in Ecuador (2018). He also received a Special Mention for Best Lead Actor at the Five Continents International Film Festival (2017) and won Best Performance at the Wildsound Feedback Writing and Film Festival (2017). In 2021, he was awarded Best Lead Actor at the GOSH! Film Festival for his performance in Firas.

With a diverse range of roles spanning multiple genres and cultures, Yassine continues to challenge himself, bringing depth and authenticity to every character he portrays.
