Tamar Baruch

Tamar Baruch, a versatile Dutch actress known for her trilingual proficiency in French, Dutch, and English, has left an indelible mark on the international stage. Born in 1959, Tamar’s journey in the world of acting commenced in 1971 when she made her debut in the series ‘THE SMALL TRUTH,’ under the direction of the renowned Willy van Hemert.

Her early success paved the way for more prominent roles, including the iconic character ‘Akki Swaan’ in the classic series Q&Q and as well as the film ‘BASTILLE’ directed by Rudolf van den Berg.

The 1980s saw Tamar’s relocation to London, where she honed her craft at the prestigious East 15 Acting School. Her return to The Netherlands was marked by her noteworthy performance in the comedy series ‘WILLEMSPARK,’ directed by Antoinette Beumer and Remy van Heugten.

Tamar’s artistic journey took an international turn when she settled in Paris, France. She marked her French cinematic debut with the movie ‘BUDAPEST,’ directed by Xavier Gens, setting the stage for a successful career in both French and English productions. Her repertoire expanded to include prominent roles in various series and films, exemplifying her linguistic and cultural versatility.

In recent years, Tamar Baruch has worked on notable performances in acclaimed series such as the British series ‘YEARS AND YEARS’ (BBC, CANAL+ & HBO), the French Netflix series ‘FAMILY BUSINESS SEASON 1 & 2’, and the popular British series ‘GANGS OF LONDON’ (SKY TV / PRIMEVIDEO). In cinemas, she brought her talents to the horror genre with a role in ‘THE NUN 2’, directed by Michael Chaves and the French Sci-fi / Fantasy ‘AFTER BLUE,’ directed by Bertrand Mandico.

Tamar has lent her distinctive voice to international animations and commercials, collaborating with prestigious brands such as CHANEL, STELLA MCCARTNEY, BADOIT, DISNEY, and CITROËN.
